Found the chrome rim about 3 foot down was a faint signal, tooth was in the same hole with the rim. I am disappointed I figured it was a pipe so was rough with it before I saw the chrome shine. It would of been almost perfect if not for me being rough and I'm sure HAD some sort of value lol. It is neat looking for sure. Then the other weird object appears to be some homemade thing made with lead. I appreciate if anyone can identify what car the rim came from, type of tooth, and what the other thing is. mir_20210331_164424.webpmir_20210331_164445.webpmir_20210331_163423.webpmir_20210331_163500.webpmir_20210331_163518.webpmir_20210331_163638.webpmir_20210331_164634.webpmir_20210331_164615.webpmir_20210331_164559.webp

Also I'm super mad at myself for messing that rim up. Took about an hour to get it out of the ground damage was done from me bringing my shovel down when I thought it was just a pipe since it was so deep down

looks like an old hubcap
Yeah that's what it is. I am really wishing I hadn't damaged it so bad. Some of the old ones have value so I cringed when I finally got it out of the ground. I really messed it up.

When I was young, I remember those twist seals were on cloth bags of corn meal and flour we got from a local mill.

A car part and a broken tooth together...... Ouch!

Don't sweat roughing up the hubcap.
It's like you have to do it to something to remind you to take it easy on recoveries.
Then if you're like me , you get complacent again after a while and think a target is another piece of junk....And stab something nice. L.o

Congrats on getting out and making some recoveries!

Probably about a 50 dollar hub cap if I hadn't wrecked it lol

Technically a wheel cover, not a hubcap, but, most people group them together under the same name.
