That's definitely a good find! Clean that up and head to an actual jeweler's store for appraisal. I bet you got a couple hundred bucks, there.

If I were you, I'd get back over to Santa monica (or any other touristy So. ca beach) on Thurs. and Friday. Nice swell coming from about straight-on-west poised to hit then. Could be some erosion happening.
