Not sure what this is. It will fit on my pinky finger, but doesn't really look like a typical ring. The only markings on it are inside the band and the marking looks like an elongated number 8. Any ideas?

Mood ring is correct. It is supposed to change colors. Every kid in school has lost at least one I think as several are found on just about any schoolyard playground. Monty
