Road Trip OC, MD and finds....

5 of us VA Beach pirates went north to find targets. And targets we found!!!! Just between the 5 of us, there was 150 quarters!

Max, David, Kenny, Gary and I had a blast and it was a target rich beach for some reason. David got a 14kt gold signet ring and 2 .925's and I ended up with the only other gold - 14kt 1.4 gram hoop earring with the melt value of $43.69. My total coins were 109 with 28 Q; 25 D; 15 N; and 41 P.

Saw 4 locals and met Keith. Nice to meet you and hope you go back tomorrow and let me know if the targets continue!!!

Now ain't that a coinkydink!?! I was just thinking about goin' south to VB to see what might be there. Since you came north to my territory, (just south of the Mason Dixon), turn about should be fair play.

How are the beaches up that way looking? Down here on the outer banks the beaches are still heaping with sand from last years hurricane.

VA Beach hasn't been all that great for finds. Very sanded in and if you do get a target in the wet sand, you're lucky! You can walk for blocks without one signal.

Stay up there for targets! Very sanded in here and discouraging. We did miss targets because there were so many and we all got so wore out! It was really fun though! The entire slope of the beach was lined up with targets in one straight line and there was diggin going on!!!!
