Lee, Larry, and I loaded up Larry's van and headed over to an old fairgrounds over in Ohio. I literally turn on machine and within a few swings you can see Lee looking at me in disgust when I yell out Indian!
After that things didn't get much better. I got an 1886 Indian Head Penny at no more than 2" deep. I also dug 3 wheat pennies. Well, found one laying on top of the ground next to a tree, one was about 2 1/2" deep near the Indian and one was about 5" deep.
Larry pulled out a silver rosie at just a few inches deep.
This place wreaked havoc on the explorer. There are buried power lines and over head power lines everywhere. NOT fun at all!
I also busted out 9 quarters, 6 dimes, a nickel, and 21 memorials for a total of $3.11. By far the highest clad count that I have gotten in a while.
