Looking at that ridge from the lake...just looks like a typical glacial carved granite face..first time I went to the lake I didn't understand why it was called "Statue Lake".

Second trip I climbed up some cliffs and saw the statues.

For those people that tend to “see faces”, or “see animals” in everything, maybe more than the average person...I would recommend hiking in the western glacial carved mountain ranges. From certain angles, there are figures on many of rage rock formations and they are usually huge in proportion.

I’ll post up one next week on this thread and see if anyone sees what I saw while hiking down the trail.

Agreed, but you have to admit the first photo I posted is pretty much easily recognized.

Credit to my mom for that photo.
