Rock Identification

Could someone please help me identify this rock? It's approximately 7x10 inches and heavy for its size. I recently bought a house in Michigan and found it in my yard. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

that's Pure Michigan right there! It's a granite, when it was liquid magma, one half cooled really fast, and the other half cooled real slow, that's why it looks like there are bigger crystals there and the "line" between the two. Feldspar rich granite with quartz inclusions.
