rock with magnetic layers

New to the site! I was out with my (cheap) metal detector on the river banks and my metal detector went off a few different times and lead to me to some rocks all in the same area. Like a couple feet from each other. One of them in particular has magnetic layers/veins that are pretty strong. Can't figure out what it is...also weighed it. 144grams.
