✅ SOLVED Rocks & Fossils from Central/East Texas

I haven't ever taken the time to ID these but my husband and I have collected these over the past 5 years. Most are from East Texas but some have been found in Central Texas (and in between).

Thank you! I've been told a lot of petrified & palm wood are in this area, but I've never known how to distinguish between the two. The petrified wood I am most interested with is the larger piece (with 3 picture at different angles) that has what appears to be either a bug cavity or a nail indentation.
