It only took us 1.5 hours to do the final grid needed to finish the whole of the Roman Lion Site.
I managed 4 Scrappies & my mate got 4 as well.
We then tried a nearby hill with nothing other than buttons.
Then we crossed 2 fields to get to the L Shaped Wood where I got 1 more scrappy. Meanwhile on the journey, my mate found an iron/lead hot spot with 17th-18th C pottery.
When I noticed he hadn't followed me & I wasn't getting much on the L Shaped Wood, I went & joined him.
It seems he found evidence of an unknown 17th C dwelling.
3.5hrs total
He had a few 17th C objects, including one of the nicest buckles I've seen from that period.
I then got a few 17th C items;
Octagonal Token
Leather Mount
Lead Cloth Seal
1/2th 17th C Spur Buckle
Spec Buckle
