Nice sunny day but that meant the early morning freeze turned into a WWI trench. We predicted (hoped for) 10 scrappies today & thats what we got! The condition were so punishing Cru'dad stopped after 3.5 hours & I throw in the towel at the 4 hour point. That was plenty on my weaker knee.

Yes, wear & a weak obverse strike which is a common thing on Lizzy coins. Not sure why its always the Obverse, but it is.

I know it was a freak find. I would have had this before the small 4 inch turn that tipped it to the top. So I had a bad swing or the Cortes missed it.
