Rotated die question

I would guess that it depends on the coin, I know that it is found often of several different types of coins.

usually it has to be rotated close to 90 degrees or more before it would start to be collectable.

In 1994 I found a 1993-D Lincoln cent in my pocket change with a die rotation of about 75 degrees ~ I sold it to a collector for $30 ~ not bad!

Modern coins with die rotations are rare ~ it happened much more often on the older coins. The 3 cent pieces and the 2 cent pieces are well known for major die rotations.
