I've found numerous pieces of these in the past, never found one this complete.

I'm glad I got out with out skewering it, it was deep....

Cool find! I wanted one in the early 50's.

Nice. I was in LOVE with Roy Rogers as a kid and had one of those.

Nice!!!! Congrats!!!!

From a 1957 Canadian Sears catalog. I think your gun might be pictured pictured??? Gary

Finding a complete one of these is a good find, another 25 years in the soil and the zinc/pot metal would've likely disintegrated. :icon_scratch:
Great information provided by Gary as well.

Some of my most impressive relics, fragments, but they are toys, 'cause you KNOW what they looked like when new - we had some
just like that.......or, we stared at some complete toy, in the museum...! Humbling, to know the joy that they gave some kid, huh...?

I do remember the Hop-along Cassidy show, but he didn?t sing to you at the end like my guy Roy Rogers did.

He sometimes had Gail Rodgers sing with him, too. His horse, Trigger was just smart, not good lookin'...! :laughing7: (sorry!)

That Cap Gun is a nice find.

That's a beauty! Will look good in a display case!

A really cool find that's in real nice condition - congrats !

Great score!!!

Trigger was the model for the horse statue at the Denver Broncos stadium.

Another old-timer checking in: I had a couple of Roy Rogers six-shooters when I was a kid in the 1950's, too! Great find! Congratulations!
