Sad News For All You Marble Collectors....

The Peltier Glass Co. of Ottawa Ill. has closed after 124 years in business making marbles and glassware. Only one other company in the United States is still making marbles. Marble King of Paden City, W.VA., still produces machine made marbles. Most of the worlds marbles are produced in Mexico and Asia.

I added the site to my favorites. Am persusing it now. A cat in a can. What will they come up with next. I live alone with six cats and a packrat in a ghost town in the desert next to Death Valley. Been digging thousands of marbles from the local dump every day for eight years now.
