I always hate hearing about this my condolences goes out to the family's of these young men. I have spent a lot of time were they were at hiking in them mountain's.

I always hate hearing about this my condolences goes out to the family's of these young men. I have spent a lot of time were they were at hiking in them mountain's.

I got an update today the 2 hikers had taken shelter under a tree and were hit by lighting.

Two young men, and good men, out for an adventure bowhunting elk in the
Rockies. I can only imagine how excited they were to be out there in the wilds
and livin' the dream.

Their packs and most of their gear was still in their truck, so I'm guessing they
saw some bulls and thought they'd try a quick pursuit, taking only the essentials
with them. Storm came in fast, and they weren't able to make it back to their
truck before a bolt of lightening comes in and immediately ends their lives.

This is the kind of loss that just makes me think...WTF?
