Is the place near Davis mine on the s.g. river a good spot to prospect?

Do a search for the Sheep Mountain Wilderness Mineral Resources study on Google. There are maps showing the locations of all mines and gold bearing areas. After reading this report it should help narrow down your question. Only hands on experience will tell you if it's a good place or not.
