Woke up early saturday morning (early for me anyway) and ran a local 5K in the snow flurries (my wife thought I was crazy for only wearing a T-Shirt and shorts).
After that I stopped by a few of the local banks before heading home.
Picked up
10 rolls of half dollars
3 - $50 bags of pennies
2 - $200 bags of nickels.
Wanted a bag of dimes, but no one had one available.
The half dollars only had 1 - 40% Kennedy (1965).
The first bag of nickels was just okay.
42 pre-1960 Jefferson (1939(2), 1940(4), 1940-D(2), 1941(3), 1946(2), 1946-S, 1947-D, 1948, 1948-D(2), 1949, 1951, 1951-S, 1952-S, 1954-D, 1954-S, 1955-D, 1956, 1956-D(2), 1957, 1957-D(8), 1959-D(5))
4 Canadian (1973, 1986, 1994, 1999)
4 Foreign (Bermuda, 5 Cents (1997, 2001), Great Britain, 1 Penny (1978), Great Britain, 20 Pence (1984))
3 pennies
The second bag of nickels was probably my worst bag of nickels ever as the first $100+ was someone else's dump. Not a single pre-1960 until well past halfway through the bag. Ended up with
15 pre-1960 Jefferson (1940-D, 1940-S, 1946, 1947, 1948-D, 1949(2), 1954, 1954-D(3), 1957-D, 1958, 1958-D, 1959-D)
3 Canadian (1980, 1985, 1986)
1 Foreign (Bahamas, 5 Cents (1969))
