I'll stop here. We brought home 15 unbroken and 2 broken that we are going to keep. Majority of our finds are beers

For rural north Louisiana, this is a deep hole. They usually go no more than 6-7 feet. We are around 10-12 feet now and i still haven't hit bottom

lets see all of them together....nice spot, what is the history of finding it?

Awesome find bass you deffinantly have a honey hole there that ink is so cool. Since you found that broken green conicle the site was nice and gave you a better one lol. Awesome dig.

Unclemac, its on the east side of what was once a town square. I am about 10-12 feet from the east road that formed the square so i don't think there was enough room for there to be a building between this privy and the road. It may have sat beside a building or home. The village was largest at the time of the civil war and population started to decrease about 1885 when a railroad came through 20 miles to the north.

Got them cleaned enough to photograph. Lets get right to the 2 igloo inks. One is a David's teal. This one is gorgeous. The second has J & I E M embossing.

It also appears to have a J on the bottom.

The next 2 are identical and a small square medicine

Here are the larger beers and ales

I thought the one in the group photo to the far left was a pontil. After cleaning i found the seams and it appears to be a 3 pc mould. Also has a K i think on the bottom. The depression is not centered and its a very heavy bottle.

The 5th bottle from the left, the 1st amber gas a different collar than the rest. It too is very thick and has C & Co on the bottom.

Here are some more shots of the bottoms of the rest.

aint it funny that you spend hours digging in compacted and converted filth over a period of days, complete with serious physical labor....and if all you found was that teal ink...that would have made it all worth while. It is a sickness I tells ya!

Personally I blame Easter....we were programed from infancy to find hidden treasure!

It is kind of funny if you think about it.

and on top of that....it is someone else's GARBAGE! Even a lot of the indian points we find are worn out and tossed away!

Can't wait until my iPad charges up to see all these bottles in their beautiful glory, very nice Bass.

That ink is a beauty!

This shot doesn't do this green bottle justice. It goes from very light at the top to very dark at the bottom.
