Met up with the world's best detecting host, NZ49er, in NW Missouri on Saturday. Fun hunt and by the end of the day I was pooped. We both got several cool finds, and as a new detectorist, he taught me a lot.
Anyway, in my bag, pictured:
1st ever V nickel (toasted)
1935 Washington
Vintage Broach
Trade token. (I could use some help identifying it, "Good for 5 cents in Trade" on one side, "10677" on the other side)
Not pictured:
Wheatie 1942
Mo Tax Token
Pocket knife
Iron:
Spool bowl
Reins guide
Bridle piece
Buckle
Lots of bullets, oil lamp bits, square nails, clad and trash.
Big thanks to NZ49er (who I met on Treasurenet) for hosting and all the research. He got a lot of great finds too but he'll have to post them. From memory a merc, a round ball, 2 V nickels and several wheaties. We have another hunt lined up before he leaves our fair state.
Thanks for peeking at the latest goodies, Peace out
