The relic hunt in Missouri was a great success and a lot of fun. It was nice meeting everyone and talking shop. Thanks to JD for putting it together and thank you to our very gratious host. The landowners were two of the nicest people you could ask to meet. While visiting with David, he told me the land has been hunted for around 30 years by hundreds of people. Guess that shows a place is never cleaned out. Mike,John,Scott,Ed,and Stan, it was great to hunt with you guys. Saw a lot of near relics. We'll have to do it again sometime sans tequilla. ;D Nana, sorry I made fun of your orange. ::) Hope everyone had as much fun as I did. Take care, Eric

Those folk sure were great weren't they ? You could not ask for a nicer couple.

Hello to all.....

Well I'd like to say congrats to all that put the event together and also I've never met a nicer group of folks...I really hit it off with everyone.... I've met a lot of people in my 18 year Army career but ya'll were some of the best..... I agree with most that Eddy and his GF were crazy and I'm finally glad that someone corrected me on the pronunciation of Illinoissssssssssssss with a silent "S". Ha, ha. Eddy, you are one crazy guy. I'd also like to send a shout out to Eric in Kansas and the other guy....!!!! Just kidding.... Mike George! Oh, and Mike sorry you didn't win any Tesoro accessories. My son Alex ( the ultimate raffle King) said he'd be happy to send you a patch!!!!! Ha!! You two are true partiers and well we ought to be able to spread the alcohol more evenly next time to keep you guys from kneeling at the THRONE! Maybe I've said too much. Anyhooo, John Sloop ( I know I massacred that) was also a cool dude. That guy showed up with the most awesome collection of arrowheads and artifacts that I've ever seen. Kudos to you and I will look forward to a call in the near couple days on the awesome hunt site that you and I talked about....Shhhhhhhhh! Oh, and by the way Sunday was a long day. Steve Snowden, I'm glad I finally met you after all those phone calls. Now maybe we can get out and hunt together. Just let me do my research and we'll do so. Alan (oberkill) it was also nice finally meeting you. We've talked and talked but have never gotten together. In the future definitely.... Got to get out there and find those points. Just call me anytime.
I'm sorry that I don't remember all of ya'lls names but I will never forget Nana and Charlie, River Rat and her husband, Ron and all the other great folks that were a part of TNET Pasture hunt 2006!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope the name sticks.....

Take care Treasure hunters..... I will definitely be on TNET more often and I'm sure I'll think of more to write later.
