Saved from parking lot

Found this walking back to the dorm room about 5 -6 years ago at West Virginia University where I was at wrestling camp. Just looked down, saw it, and saved it from the gravel parking lot. I don't know anything about it other than it is a shell. Any info would be appreciated.

It's almost certainly a brachiopod. Taxon and age would be a wild guess based on available info.

Nice find! I have found fossils at the local Hardees, mixed in with their landscape gravel. Gotta love it!
