Interesting surface pitting

Hey everyone,

My mom found this last week in FL - told her I would see what folks had to say. Gulf coast south of Sarasota. Have not seen anything before with this type of pattern on it. It's about the size of a quarter. Thoughts?

Yep. Very common vertebrate fossil.
