Not a monster (20 inches), but he made a couple of nice fillets.

Chinese Restaurant? I remember hearing that a large Chinese Restaurant in Metairie, LA got busted for serving them to patrons as "rabbit"
did the rabbit go meow perhaps? In California right down the highway there was a Vietnamese family who raised "rabbits" for dinner.

Never tried the tail. Do you deep fry it?
I did try a part I hadn't tried before - the liver. It was really good.
