Detector(s) used
Garrett AT Pro
Primary Interest:
Cache Hunting
In a small town between Boulder and Longmont.

Anyway, I wanted to say that this site has been a true encyclopedia for everything I wanted to learn in metal detecting.
I have a hardly used Minelab Xterra 505 I bought to use in Venezuela to dig a buried treasure in an old country house that belonged to my great-great grandfather.
Needless to say, when I bought this detector I asked the company I bought it from what i needed for, such as buried gold coins and wanted to have decent depth.
They couldn't sell me the worst metal detector for what I wanted it for.
I wasted my trip and I didn't find squat!

Now, I'm going to be getting a new Garrett AT Pro and I alse will be buying a set of NEL Coils to go with it.
I'm looking at the Hunter and Attack coils as my main coils to hunt.
Also, I'm going to get me a new Nexus Standard MKII, hence my handle :)

There are so many places to hunt for buried treasures in Colorado, it's ridiculous.
I firmly believe that to be successful you have to have knowledge and you have to have the right equipment.

Anyway, I plan on going back to Venezuela once I get my AT Pro and go back to my ancestors house and find that cache my great great grandfather buried in the house

Thank you in advance!
