A few finds from Gettysburg from yesterday. Included are two roundballs and a Schenkl fuze from a union shell! It is stamped JP Schnekl pat oct 15 1861. Any help on the other items? Large piece of lead w a copper wire in it? Small bracket w arrow hooks?

Nice finds. The arrow hooks look like they are off the back of a buckle. I'd hunt that spot hard.

Relic nut is on the money! You've also got a rivet from a cartridge box, or cap box, etc., and a very nice flap finial off a percussion cap box or cartridge box! Nice!

Thanks for the IDs!

That is an awesome fuse! I found one a couple years ago on my first civil war relic hunt.

I wish that I could dig a fuse like That. VERY NICE!
Your Large lead with copper wire in it "Could" be a melted bullet W/Copper in it ???
Did you scratch it with a Digging tool? or is that the wire in the Picture?

I'm may have missed something but what is the Piece With the hole in it ; to the right of the Fuse?

Very nice assortment of relics.
Congrats on a sweet hunt.

I dug a 6# case shot Cannonball not long ago that was taken apart for the lead and powder (we think ) have only been back once since to look for fuze. I hope I can find it in the spring. If not, maybe you can let me have that one. LOL!!!!!!
