Went back to the same school park I have been hitting, this was the 4th time and the park still is giving up some rings. this one is silver, 925 but it also has another mark that I'm not sure of, it also has some small (diamonds?) of which 4 are missing. I also got a War Nickel, one wheatie and a silver charm. this park has given up 6 rings - 5 charms - 2 earing's (1 silver--1 black hills gold).
Total clad for 4 hunts $34.16

Nice ring. That mark is most likely is the Ring Masters initials or mark, and the other mark before the .926 looks like the manufactures hallmark.

That's a purty nice ring you got there.
Too bad some of the stones are missing.
It looks like it could be pretty old to.

Nice ring. I am trying to get me one, one of these days.

I have a question as to missing stone(s) when a ring is found.

Would one be wise to take home a scoop or two of the dirt from a hole with a broken ring ? As maybe the stone could be found later at home.

thanks,
dave

WTG King J! Sounds like my kind of park!

Dave, if you think the stones are real, taking some dirt from the hole and sifting through it later has been suggested when I found a ring missing a few stones. I never tried it (the ring turned out to be a fakey) but it's worth a shot if you think they are there.
