I've been hunting a late 50's early 60's school yard on sunday mornings.
Over the last 5 or 6 hunts there this year it only gave up a few wheaties
and 5 to 6 bucks in clad. This morning was the hunt that gave up some silver.
First a .925 heart pendant and a 1964d rosie, 2 wheats 35 and 41d, toy train
car, and the copper belt buckle with a swimmer embossed on the face.
Clasp and earring were low quality jewelry.

that swimmer buckle is very cool. congrats

Nice going Rich, we were on the same page this morning! Hit four schoolyard playgrounds. Boutique jewelry was the name of the game after the clad however. I was only hitting the fresh pickens.

I have way too many heart charms from the last year of totlots and none of them are stamped anything but MIC. Argghhhhh!

School yards offer more than what most expect ...

And you my good man are proof positive .... :headbang:

WTG, Richard!!!

If I could walk away from that hunt with only one of those finds, that way cool train car would be secure in my pocket!!! :hello2:

That train & buckle are really cool!
And the silver's a nice bonus as well

Nice mix of goodies!
I want to get back to the schoolyard that I grew up near.
It was originally the site of a one room school house that kept expanding over the generations.
I'm sure there are some deep goodies still left there.
