School's First Wheat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well I made it back to that one-room school today and i finally got to scratch a first off of my list of firsts to break. I found a '52d wheat today, you would have thought i found gold i was so excited. Also found a "Precious Pat" compact circa '30s or '40s. I identified it by looking up precious Pat and were listed on ebay. Anyway found those and found somemore just regular clad coinage, but I found one coin? or something it's bout the diameter of quarter but don't think its' a real coin cause only markings on it are two horizontal lines with the number 27 struck in the center. I think its made out of copper, if anyone has any ideas please feel free to speculate. Sorry about the pic quality still dont' have that down "Pat" so to speak. The Pics of the school are gonna be on here also even if I have to post additionallly. My mother said there was an out house sort of close to the tree to the left of the school, and that they went behind " to the right of school in pic" to eat their lunch. She said they used to play just about every where around the place though. I appreciate any advice or comments on this place or these finds. Thanks So much in advance.
