🥇 BANNER Scored a very nice Morgan Dollar today!

[Ed_DE]

Got a new permission today and I was able to make some nice finds. My first find was a silver thimble. I found thimbles before but this is my first silver thimble. My last find I made was a 1921 Morgan silver dollar. It's in very good condition & looks like it was dropped in 1921. Thanks for looking.

You didn't say if that's your first Morgan, but either way, Congrats, in a BIG way, for that beautiful coin! I've been at it for 32+ years and have yet to find any type of silver dollar. The thimble is stunning as well- great find!

That is certainly a great day to remember, congrats on the silver thimble and the smashing Morgan.

Congrats on your first silver dollar, how many yrs have you been detecting?

I've written this before - it's not what you hunt with, or who you hunt with, or even how you hunt that matters as much as where you hunt.

Nice find right there!

Good luck to all,

Got my first metal detector when I was about 10 years old. Today I'm 61. Didn't get serious about metal detecting until 2019. I never metal detect too much because of work. But on my day off when I have time like to take my metal detector out for a walk.

Nice going The silver dollar is a great find How deep was it ?

It wasn't too deep. Maybe 5" or 6". But there was a lot of roots I had to cut through.

WOW Nice reply ? Did it almost blow your ear drums out ?

It didn't blow my ear drums out. But it gave a nice repeatable sound from two directions. I was hoping for something good.
