Got a new permission today and I was able to make some nice finds. My first find was a silver thimble. I found thimbles before but this is my first silver thimble. My last find I made was a 1921 Morgan silver dollar. It's in very good condition & looks like it was dropped in 1921. Thanks for looking.

It wasn't too deep. Maybe 5" or 6". But there was a lot of roots I had to cut through.

Wow it’s sure clean looking to have been in ground for how long I wonder? Looks as good as the one my great aunt gave me when I was a kid

$1 was a lot of money in 1921.
You could buy a nice meal with that.

Great find. How did you clean the morgan so good ?

The front of the Morgan Dollar I only used water.
The back of the Morgan I cleaned with Wright silver cream which I REGRET doing.
I would never use a chemical cleaner/polish on a silver coin again! I feel that using a cleaner/polish takes away the looks and value of the coin.
