A knee injury forced me to cut back on my time in the field early in September. It needed time to heal; being a flooring installer didn't hasten the process. The discomfort limited me to brief scouting missions. I had detected the back half of an abandoned double that netted some clad and several wheats. So, it was a good opportunity to check out the other half. Unfortunately, it did not pan out to be a good site, but while searching for the old clothes line location, I came across these.........

They are a pair of lead soldiers that appear to be circa WWI or just after. Finding them did get me excited and optimistic about this parcel........I may go back and recheck it again.
Thanks for lookin' in and good luck on all your outings!!
