From your photo I don't see use or flaking to make a tool, it could just be a piece of scrap from knapping.

That third picture shows what looks to be a worked crescent shaped edge to me. Can't really say for sure without holding it but I definitely would have brought it home for a closer look. Could be a Scraper or Tool of some kind.
