You guys could be right about the salvaged thebes scraper theory. If it was worked across the plane on both sides I would totally agree, but it appears to be a typical reworked uniface flake. Do you see any thebes that are just worked on one side?

sometimes you see thebes points with those big flat faces where they took off a big spawl with percussion blows ,i had one that was flat on both sides like that
