Scrapping appliances

What is the best way to scrap out appliances like micro-wave,fridge,washer ,dryer,cook stove,etc. And what metals are you looking for?

i would just unscrew the thing and separate all the metals. recycle the plastic.
iron(if you want to save it)
stainless (if it doesn't stick to a magnet its worth more $$)
brass
AL
copper (you may have to strip the wires)

i agree with whitesid thats what i do. that them apart n take all the metal u can out of them (i don't have a place that buys plastic around me or ill take that it) strip the wires down for better price.
