I am going to be taking some aluminium and copper of tomorrow. And I had a question about the copper, is there a difference between copper tubing and copper wiring, I have a little bit of both, and I was a little curious. The place I am taking it is very nice but don't want the to cheat me out of any money. Thanks.

Here copper wire is considered #1 if it is bigger around than a #2 pencil lead. And of coure it has to be stripped.

Tubing is #1 if it has no solder or fittings or paint on it and is bigger around than a #2 pencil lead.

I have three types, bright, #1, #2. I get different prices for all three bright is wire that is clean (no plastic) and very shiny. The #1 is tubing that has no solder or any other metal on it. The last is #2 copper with solder and that is the same as brass. Wire can be #1 or #2 also the same as copper tubing if it has solder or anything on it, or if its not shiny
