Searching old stone wall yields killer find

I’ve been searching my brother in laws land for two foundations he remembers seeing when he was a kid we also have a map from late 1700s that shows two houses on the property a lot of the growth is very thick I think I found a corner stone for one of them but it’s so over grown I can’t even swing a detector so I decided I would search the stone walls around the area I found a couple of ax heads and some farm tools just when I was about to call it I got one more interesting hit down between to stones it was a gun 8 sided barrel I believe it’s a 32 cal pretty sweet find definitely find of the day!!!!
