Season 6

Removed how? They would have had to carry any load by hand. There were no horses or oxen brought by colonists for another 10 years.

So if they traveled they would have had to pack it all (including food) on their persons.

Another silly hypothesis.

How did the pilgrims get to America? Is not Oak Island an Island? Can not a ship dock at Smith's Cove?

Row boat maybe , to shallow for a ship of larger size.

Master Christopher Jones and his ship, the MAYFLOWER, were hired by the Separatists (Pilgrims) to carry them to Northern Virginia.
The Mayflower departed Plymouth, England on September 6, 1620, arrived at Cape Cod November 9, 1620.
AS winter was setting in, Captain Jones and his crew stayed the winter with the Pilgrims, aided in establishing shelter for the new found colony, then set sail for England, April 5, 1621.

There is no recorded mention of Captain Jones or the Mayflower or any member of the Separatist Congregation leaving the colony they were engaged in building shelters for the winter to go to Oak Island.
William Bradford provided the ONLY eyewitness account of this period in his "HISTORY OF PLYMOUTH PLANTATION", and there is NO mention of Oak Island, Nova Scotia, or religious treasure.

If the ancient aliens could build the pymarids surely this would have bee child's play:laughing9:

After returning to England, Jones continued in his previous business of shipping goods, and a log of Jones and the Mayflower does not seem to exist, so this presented premise of "Adventures and Strangers on the Mayflower removed the treasure in 1620" has no foundation in fact.

Did you measure the waters depth in 1620?

I didn't, but the Dutch did. In their part of the world, the ocean was about .3 meters shallower back then than it is today. That by itself means very little when we're discussing Nova Scotia, but 1620 was smack dab in the middle of the Little Ice Age. It would be reasonable to assume that the ocean was shallower in most places, but it's difficult to say how much.

If it was that shallow maybe they just walked over on dry land?

While it's impossible to tell exactly what the water depth what at any given point in 1620, the Dutch figure of .3 meters is probably close.

I suppose that it's possible to avoid the rowboat problem. The crew of the Mayflower could have simply careened her on the beach, particularly if maintenance was required. Of course, it's at least equally likely that there's no record of Mayflower going to Oak Island because she never went there. The simplest explanation is not always the correct one, but in this case it answers a number of questions very easily - for instance, whether Jones would have been crazy enough to mount an expedition north into unknown waters when he was missing around half his crew and sailing a damaged ship.

If we are to assume that something happened other than what was recorded at the time...well, some evidence will be required, as that doesn't appear to be what the people directly involved wrote about.

Al Gore said sea levels are 7 feet higher since 1995

I think they found their new sniffer, ready to employ new advanced technologies in the show's already overly complex format to help simplify the sniffing

Hey , just wondering. Now that we know that digital camera's can see gold, will that device discriminate pulltabs and bottle caps? Also. Do they make a sling for it? It looks a little Nose heavy:laughing7: sniffing.webp

I don't pay much attention to what Al Gore says. If he actually said this, that's another good reason to ignore him.

Why do people keep coming up with these crazy sea level rises...

Sea level rose by 6 cm during the 19th century and 19 cm in the 20th century
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sea_level_rise

So in the last 200+ years it has risen by 10 inches... It has not changed by multiple feet! If sea level has changed by more then that it is because the land has sunken or risen.. Not because the sea level has changed...

Marty has approached the ancient aliens team and Giorgio Tsoukalos is set to film an episode of the show with Marty

This sounds like the best TV crossover since the Harlem Globetrotters appeared on Gilligan's Island.

from CTV Nova Scotia channel 9 news:

Locals reported the recent tropical storm surge raised the island’s freshwater lens so violently that a massive geyser burst out of the Money Pit. Many eyewitnesses claim to have seen a large golden box-shaped object lifted high into the air atop the fountain before disappearing forever into the heavens.

Unfortunately the Discovery Channel and Lagina brothers and crew were in Asia researching a possible Oak Island connection to the The Great Wall of China and missed this incredible event.

However a quick thinking local snapped this amazing photo with their iPhone.
