Hi guys,
Spent a couple of hours checking a cornfield next to a colonial field I had detected for a couple of years. Got a three wheaties, a '25 and two '27s and found this laying on top of the ground. 1915 no mint mark in G4 condition. Second lowest mintage of the Barber halfs. The Red Book says it's a $120 coin! Gotta get back there before the farmer discs it up.

nice job.. good luck

Nice job, goldgrubber. What detector were you using? How deep were the wheats?
I also found my second Barber today; a 1903 dime.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks T-Man. I was using a DFX. The wheats were all about 4-5 inches deep.

GG....great job on the key date Barber Half, love finding those low mintage silvers. They don't happen to often. Just wondering how she cleaned up? Burl

If that's only your second Barber, I can't wait to see what your third looks like :headbang:
