Second diamond ring this week - wife found this one!

Hey folks this is the second gold/diamond ring we found this week. I dug one detecting a couple days ago and while I was out detecting today, my wife found this:




...and she wasn’t even using a detector! She found it sticking up out of the dirt in the snow-play area I was detecting!

It’s marked 14K inside so I’m guessing it’s white gold. The rocks look diamond-ish to me, but I’m no expert.

Thanks folks! I’m actually a bit jealous.. I can’t count it as “my find” - glad she spotted it though! I did manage about $3 in change today, including a ‘61 Rosie dime and a ‘54 wheatie.. ^_^

And would you believe..? (really - no lie) My daughter found this .925 ring there with her Compadre today!! Funny how I can go for weeks finding nothing but clad, and then.. I still need to hit about another 5 sledding areas before the other local detectorists clean ‘em. Thanks, snow bunnies!
