Haven't been out a lot as of late. But when I have been out, I've been finding tons of clad. The only item of interest is my second ever flat button. My first was a Tombac (the one the right in the pics below). My latest is the on on the left. It is larger (about 1.275" in diameter and .030"+ thick) and is copper. When I dug it up, it had a little bit of a green patina. I thought at first sight I hit another colonial copper, but not this time.

Thanks for looking.

Interesting, considering I found it about 100 feet from the no-date King George III Irish Half Penny I found months ago. Found in a soccer field and I believe the dirt was fill from another sight. I will keep going back there periodically to keep looking, when I have the time.

Thanks for the info CRUSADER.
