went out hunting today before work at my new honey hole where I found the sterling pin Monday.......
started out in front yard wasn't doing that well. then I went to the back ....gut feeling told me to hunt center of yard between two old oaks thinking maybe clotheline at one time.........not much there then scooted on over toward a newer built shed.....where an old tree had been started hitting around roots got a solid 80 85 was a 40 something wheat haven't cleaned it yet....
ran my coil back over area ...bam solid loud 90 so I start getting excited dug some more of the plug out pin pointer started singing ....out popped my ben franklin half 1961.....second half of the year my first was a walker....but love ol ben too!!
went back over to the center of the yard got a choppy 50 55 dug it all I seen was red .....got it dug out and its a religious or shall I say half religious class ring I can read jesus Christ on it but haven't cleaned it yet to make out the rest .......first real ring ive found ..even though its in half im still excited about it...gonna go back tomrow and see if I can find the rest.....also found an older buckle will post as soon as I clean
