Second hunt of '18

Dang. When you're born in the fifties typing 2018 seems way the heck out there. Anyhooo, went scratchin along a railroad track finding plenty of modern lead and shotgun shells but not much else when my luck changed... first a round ball got me hopefull, then about 8 or 10 feet away found my first pocket watch(part of it anyway) then got into a few minnie balls. What's not to like?

sometimes you really begin to wonder if you are going to find anything worthwhile and then(hopefully) a ray of hope shines thru. looks like you managed to find a pretty decent ray to finish the day off with. wading thru the trash can get old but it makes you appreciate the better finds even more. gotta love the old lead
