So after finding that one large "flake or chip" and not thinking much about it... I continued walking around the unplowed field closer to the creek. This field had not been touched since last year and was full of debris from the corn stalks... it was cut down after harvest last year... so the ground was covered with corn cobs and stalks and leaves. Every little bit the ground showed thru and that is what I looked over closely.
There it was my FIRST point!
Now... since I did not think of that earlier "flake or chip" as being anything... This new find took me to a place of deep history.... all of a sudden everything was quite... I heard nothing... I was in the past... deep into the early years of mankind!
I was holding history.... I was holding a piece not touched in many many years. I had in my hands what a man had spent hours to make in order to survive. I was honored!
So..... Please tell me this is a good find... please tell me it is indeed something left behind by early man.
So between my wife and I... we both found something yesterday... and in different places! We both had our FIRST FINDS... and I have to say... she found "OUR" first find... FIRST!
Tell me what you think.... is it anything? age? type? etc.
