So last Thursday (May 7) I found my first silver coin, a 1963 Roosevelt dime while hunting with Carolina Tom. Quite honestly, I didn't expect to find another one for a long time since I haven't really been doing this for long and am still learning my ATP. But, as luck would have it, I was wrong! Two days later I was back out with Carolina Tom, we'd been hunting for about 15 minutes when I heard a nice high target...low and behold it was a 1936 Mercury dime! Here are a few pictures, thanks for looking.

And then Kurt while Tom is away take the other CSM members to the real virgin spot and have them text him in realtime of all the finds

Good job...now the addiction starts!!

You broke through the silver bubble, next thing ya know you'll be in the 1800's club. Love to see a silver in the plug. 8-)

Beautiful silver and it's in nice shape.
Merc's are still one of my favorite coins ever.

Congrats on your twofer. It's a great feelin'.

Kurt it doesn't hurt hunting with a charter member of the Charlotte Silver Mafia they have all the good places scoped out and ole CT is among the best.

Yes sir, I couldn't agree more!
