Hi everyone! I was wondering about selling my old gold rings that I have found through the years but don't know where to sell them? I did a search on the metals section and everyone was saying to sell your scrap gold to Midwest. Has anyone dealt with them on this post? Or do anyone have a better place to sell scrap gold, I live in Hawaii and the places here are a rip off!! Any help would be appreciated!! Aloha!! :)

HI,
Midwest Refineries is the place to sell your scrap gold. I have dealt with them many times and they are the best. Since you are in HI I have to ask, do you find many platinum rings? I have only found one in 6 years of water hunting here in Michigan.

I am lucky to live just a couple miles from Midwest Refineries in Waterford, MI. I have sold much gold and silver there and am very happy with them. They also pay 94% of spot. One place that advertised on buying gold was a rip off. I walked in and asked how about them buying gold and how much they paid paid. They didn't care about the spot price, just $ a gram.

Thanks guys for all of your help!! I hope I can make a few dollars from all of the work that went into finding those rings and jewelry lost in the sea. How much have you guys sold to Midwest? Lots or a few pieces here and there? Just curious!! No need to tell me everything but will try to show you all the stuff before I send it in!! Aloha!!

Midwest for sure...AVOID>>>>goldkit.com TOTAL RIP OFF!

Has anyone ever sold to Kitco? Just wondering how they compare . I have some 40 % silver coins I would like to sell and I see Midwest doesn't accept them. Thanks , Tyler
