I saw the SS blastoff in 1991 and I'll never forget the sight & sound. I've never seen this video til today. Hope it's okay to post here on the GD forum. I guess it'll be moved if not.

Incredible shots by booster mounted camera from launch through water touchdown.

This is about as close as we are going to get to the real thing.

Wow! Here is something you don't get to see every day.

Cameras mounted on the sides of the Space Shuttle booster tanks.

Notice when it breaks the sound barrier.

Watch for SRB separation at about 120 seconds (the nominal booster burn time)
