-first of all, good to be back on this site, I could not log on for a few weeks. Now on to the 'Story'--
So, A friend and I went into the local gorge to see if there was anything worth panning. Well, I walked the woods and then the plowed but not fitted field (chisel plowed a few months ago)---Tom found nothing with his dowsing rods, but I found NICE POINT sitting on a 2'' plinth of dried mud---and then the quarter in the next field over. This field had been a ball field and carnival site back in the 50's. It has given up more then 80 silver dimes, 6-8 silver quarters, ground scored Walkin' Lib 50¢, a few Buff Nickels, plenty of Weaties, and my first Arrow Head! oh, and in the adjacent woods, 1) 2 Reale, 1) 1/2 reale and of all things, a Louis Kossuth token!! (and just a 1000 feet from my house!!)

NICE.........................

Sounds like a site that will give up the goods for a long time - how nice to have a site like that !

Nice job on the silver, but I have to go with the point on that hunt. That's a beauty.
