Set a full day aside for MD'ing (no pics sorry)
Unfortunately I was continuously interrupted and ended up only getting about an hour an a half (not happy about that). Got permission to hunt a nice spot about a block away from the original town. 4 small empty houses built in 1912 ( I know not "old" by most of your standards but pretty old for this area, town was formed in 1886) right by the original train tracks running through town.
No pics but ended up with 3 1997 dimes. 1978, 75, 81 and 84 pennies and a 1938 and 1953 Wheaties. Grass was really tall and hard to swing but I toughed it out. Land owner came by and said he would try to get it mowed sometime soon and that I could come back then as well. Looking forward to it, he also said someone was swinging there about 10 years ago and found an 188? Half no one has been there since.
