setting up a claim

So i dont mean to sound like a total newbie but.. i dont understand how people are still setting up claims? what kind of process is there? how does one set it up?

Go to the BLM office near you...They have records you can look at...Find the area you want and find out it’s status...They used to sell a book with all the forms and instruction at these offices..Art

Check with my brother,TimC. He has several claims filed in AZ. Also check the archives for the tutorial I posted on how to file a claim. I can only vouch for filing claims in AZ but most states that have gold are similar. TTC

Sorry Duckwalk no claims in Georgia. Find a local prospecting group. There is most likely one in your area.

im pretty sure you can get a lease from the Chattahoochee national forest or other associations like the corp of engineers or even counties but other than that nothing
