I went back to the Union Civil War camp with VOL1266X on Wednesday of this week. We both made some pretty good finds. Vol has already posted his on Treasure Net. This is our seventh trip to the site. The first thing I found was a complete knap-sack hook. Then I found a .54 caliber and a Merrill carbine bullet. We were digging "iffy" signals and I dug a couple of .32 caliber round pistol balls. I hit one good sounding iron object and dug up a round iron canister shot. This is the first one I have ever found. I also dug up a couple of pieces of lead canister shot. The first picture shows some of what I found on Wednesday. The second picture is everything I have found from that Union camp, so far. Thanks for looking.

Great finds Dman! Tou guy's are doing great at that site.

what are the things in the first picture, top middle, looks like little barbells? I find them in almost every field I detect where a homesite was.

The one on the right is a stud from a belt that went to a sword. It is bigger than the one on the left. The one on the left went to a horses or mule harness. Sometime you find them around old houses or barns.
Thanks
